The Roots of my life go back as far as my Great Grandfather.  Gardening is a gene that has been passed down in my family from generation to generation.  It serves as a metaphor for life.  Deep strong roots keep you firmly grounded in tradition, passion and happiness!

For years, I have served as a helpful role to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. In 2020,  I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our society. I founded A farm girls life! with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and it has been a wild success ever since.

More Puppy Dog Daze!

Hey there my friend's and family! So guess what? Last week didn't go at all like I intended!

(This is our Dixie! I think she is beautiful!) I took Izaiah with me when I took Dixie to Strafford. He was very good for me and helpful. He held on to Dixie while I was busy with Joe the very friendly and helpful tech! We dropped Dixie off for her progesterone test and I took Izaiah to McDonald's for lunch 😑. He was excited because he got a Happy Meal with a toy and we got to eat inside for the first time in a year! Yes Missouri is open and we have no mask mandates. I hope we stay that way!

(Izaiah and Honey!) When we got back to pick Dix up they hadn't finished her progesterone test. So I gave them our phone 📱 numbers and we took off for 🏡 home. Izaiah took a nap so it was a peaceful drive 🚗 other than doging the Semi Trucks on I 44!

(Dixie) When we got home we had a message waiting for us. Dixie was at a 22, almost past her breeding cycle. Tom decided it was a maybe and that was too far to go for a maybe. I was disappointed but also relieved to not have to make that long drive.

Talk to you later!
