The Roots of my life go back as far as my Great Grandfather.  Gardening is a gene that has been passed down in my family from generation to generation.  It serves as a metaphor for life.  Deep strong roots keep you firmly grounded in tradition, passion and happiness!

For years, I have served as a helpful role to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. In 2020,  I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our society. I founded A farm girls life! with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and it has been a wild success ever since.

Family,Migraines . Hey folks! It has been a beautiful fall day in South West MO. Just a little bite to the air and then it warmed up! The sky was a beautiful crystal clear blue and the sun shone all day long! Unfortunately for me it was a Migraine day! Hubby said barometric pressure was changing and that will do it! So if it was a painful day for anyone else I feel for you! Since I just came up for air I'm going to dig into my pictures to see what I have to share!

Honey, our Collie, likes to crate herself. If you look closely the door is open! Puff the cat is just hanging out! My favorite flower pictures. Our Shi-Poo Tiger, my daughter's 4-H dog, he is 14 I think! Cow, calf pair!
