The Roots of my life go back as far as my Great Grandfather.  Gardening is a gene that has been passed down in my family from generation to generation.  It serves as a metaphor for life.  Deep strong roots keep you firmly grounded in tradition, passion and happiness!

For years, I have served as a helpful role to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. In 2020,  I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our society. I founded A farm girls life! with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and it has been a wild success ever since.

Weekend Wonder!

Family,family fun,life . Hey all! How has your weekend been? Ours has been sorta normal. There are always chores to do. Cattle to feed, turkeys to take care of and then there is our Kennel of Collies and the other dogs and 🐈 cats. Of course we can't forget our Grandsons, all the laundry, house work ect... where am I going with this 😩? Oh yeah we finally had time for some fun! Our Son came out with some friends and took my little guys fishing! They both caught fish 🐟 and they were soo excited! Nana got to put off learning to fish! Wew!!! . Then we went shopping with their Mom for Halloween Costumes! Of course even Spider-Man 🕷 had to have a sword! We found nerf swords in the toy section that light up and are so cool. Of course they had their first battle as soon as we got home! They were hitting each other hard and the swords got put up till Halloween 🎃! I did get pictures first and some great fall pictures 📷 of the farm 🚜 🤪!
