The Roots of my life go back as far as my Great Grandfather.  Gardening is a gene that has been passed down in my family from generation to generation.  It serves as a metaphor for life.  Deep strong roots keep you firmly grounded in tradition, passion and happiness!

For years, I have served as a helpful role to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. In 2020,  I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our society. I founded A farm girls life! with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and it has been a wild success ever since.

(This is Jalyn at 8 wks) Hey there my friend's and family! I took an unplanned hiatus from my blog! We have been busy with summer activities and my new job! Babysitting my new Granddaughter! I have to admit it is hard to accomplish all the other things I still have to do! So in the meantime I have been canning tomatoes, greenbeans, salsa, I froze some zucchini and minced and froze some jalapeños! I also made some pickles canned and refrigerator (they are really good)!

The boys helped me harvest. It was like treasure hunting for them!

We swam alot and they constantly brought me flowers!

(Flowers, dirt, bugs 🐛 and all!) Sammy, Jaylyn and I took a long road trip to Illinois. We went to see My friend Chris at Goodwins True View Collies! We brought Honey to breed her to one of Chris's non-carrier males! We also brought home my new puppy. She is a gorgeous Rough Collie and also a non-carrier. She is a house puppy for now and she is onery!

(This is my Carly)

We attended a family wedding and had lots of fun dancing the night away!

Tom lends me a helping hand with Jalyn! Wether it was with our kids or grandkids we have always made a good team!

Finally our summer flock shipped and we were able to grab some quality time with the Grandkids! We love beautiful Tablerock Lake and in particular Campbell Point campground and marina! We had fun on the lake, grilling hamburgers and roasting marshmallows! Oh and I've been crocheting baby afgans like crazy! I plan on putting them on my shop for sale. Each one is different, unique and a work of 🎨 art! So I think that catches us up! The boys are back in school! We are getting ready to rip up the living room carpet and put down hardwood flooring! Can't wait! We are also making some much needed repairs around our house 🏠! So that's it for now! Be sure to check out my store's for new t-shirt, sweatshirt designs also phone cases, my Zodiac line of T-shirts and kids shirts! Talk to you later! FG Farm Girl
