The Roots of my life go back as far as my Great Grandfather.  Gardening is a gene that has been passed down in my family from generation to generation.  It serves as a metaphor for life.  Deep strong roots keep you firmly grounded in tradition, passion and happiness!

For years, I have served as a helpful role to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. In 2020,  I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our society. I founded A farm girls life! with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and it has been a wild success ever since.

Family life, Grandkids, Recipes, Movies Hey everyone! How is your Sunday going? Is it a football Sunday for some of you! Today is a good day to snuggle up inside with a good movie or a good book! Our movie this afternoon has been "Kung Fu Panda," yes courtesy of our little Grandsons. . I decided that I was going to work up the last of my tomatoes. My green tomatoes! I roasted them under the broiler, then put them in cold water to remove the skins.

Then I started following my friend Smita's recipe (recipe is on my salsa post) any way I started making it in small batches to get the ingredients and the taste right. On my 3rd batch my blender quit! . So I put everything away in the refrigerator until tomorrow. Now I have to go out and buy a new blender! Any suggestions for a good brand? Here are my pictures of my salsa Sunday! . . Hey, thanks everyone for accepting my invite! Be sure to look at my line of products to see if there is anything you can't live without! Talk to you later! FG Farm Girl
