The Roots of my life go back as far as my Great Grandfather.  Gardening is a gene that has been passed down in my family from generation to generation.  It serves as a metaphor for life.  Deep strong roots keep you firmly grounded in tradition, passion and happiness!

For years, I have served as a helpful role to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. In 2020,  I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our society. I founded A farm girls life! with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and it has been a wild success ever since.

Happy Easter!

Hey my friend's and Happy Easter! "He has Risen, He has Risen Indeed!" I promised a picture of my Easter Table! If you haven't figured it out yet I'm a big fan of Cobalt Blue glassware! When Mother was still alive she enabled me with lots of gifts of Cobalt Blue. To the point that I was running out of places to put it! .

I would like to think that if she were looking down from Heaven at my Easter Table today, that she would be smiling! So I used a Linen Table Cloth that I have had for years. I used my teal table runner from Thanksgiving! I used edible Easter grass from Walmart and a couple of little pots of artificial foliage.

After that I pulled out my Easter Pretties that I inherited from my Mom. Porcelain Rabbits and lambs! A beautiful pink Rose covered bowl filled with Easter eggs my boys dyed by themselves, ( or at least sort of by themselves)! Actually it shows progress because last year I wouldn't even have attempted it with them by myself last year! Woo Hoo!

Tomorrow we are having a picnic on the porch! We are going to grill hamburgers and 🌭 hotdogs and have an Easter egg hunt! 🥚 I'am going to try to dress that Table too so I will show you that one later! Oh I also pulled out my Cobalt blue candle sticks! I love them because they are big and chunky and they give some height to the table setting. I also pulled out my Cobalt Blue Chicken and some votives. You know how I like to go least expensive if I can.

The napkins are Blue and White checked wash cloths (not kidding and the placemats are beige drawer liners in a waffle pattern!) The dishes are Pioneer Women. I really like the blue and red roses! Well that's it for now!

Remember my friend's, I love you but Jesus loves you more! Happy Easter! FG Farm Girl
