Grandma Life!
Hello everyone! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I haven't posted much lately and I will show you why. My Daughter went back to work after maternity leave and I became the babysitter! Add in two busy Grandson's and I don't have time to sit down! Except when I'm rocking Jaylyn or giving her, her bottle! I'm a little prejudiced but I think she is beautiful and so sweet!
Jaylyn at 5 months! I have been busy going to preschool field trips with Jeremiah. He has a great teacher, Julie Forkner is her name and She is awesome! So we went to the apple 🍎 orchard, the fire station, the police station, he went to the post office 🏤 and we went out to a local rural church that had a corn maze and other things for the kids to play with! The the next day I took both boys to the Exeter Corn Maze. It was pretty awesome and there was so much for them to do! Here are pictures of all of it. If you live in our area I highly recommend the Exeter Corn Maze next fall!
Rinehart Christian Church! Duck races and they buried their teacher!
Exeter Corn Maze, go-carts and zip lines and hay swings and more! We had a great time!
Then in November when we were going full steam ahead my daughter, myself and the baby came down with Covid! My husband got us prescriptions for Ivermectin, and no it is not the same thing we give our animals! Samantha got better right away. I have taken longer. Of course we were quarantined with the boys for 10 days! That was a challenge! But before we got quarantined I did get a chance to get some fall foliage shots.
So there you are! There is our beautiful farm in the fall! So now it's time to focus on Christmas 🎄! I still don't have all my energy back so I'm feeling a little bah hum bug! We also are in the process of putting down new flooring in our living room! We pulled out the old carpet and replaced it with hard wood flooring. It is almost finished and looks terrific! But as you can imagine our house is in a state of chaos! Yesterday was my Birthday. For us that is the traditional day for putting up our Christmas 🎄! But we can't yet until the floor is finished! So send me pictures of your trees everyone, help me get in the holiday spirit. I will even share them on my blog if you are OK with that! Maybe we can inspire alot of people with Christmas Spirit! Talk to you later! FG Farm Girl
