The Roots of my life go back as far as my Great Grandfather.  Gardening is a gene that has been passed down in my family from generation to generation.  It serves as a metaphor for life.  Deep strong roots keep you firmly grounded in tradition, passion and happiness!

For years, I have served as a helpful role to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. In 2020,  I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our society. I founded A farm girls life! with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and it has been a wild success ever since.

Crafts, Flowers, Grandkids, FamilyTime . . Hey all! What a gorgeous Saturday! Can you believe this weather? My Grandsons are running around outside barefoot, in October! Except for the fact that we could still use some good rain, everything is still growing and blooming. . I'm going to make my last bouquets 💐 of the season today! This is Missouri though and we know that the weather can change at any moment. ( Don't we all say that about the state we live in!) Eventually we will all get a killing frost and we will have to say goodbye to this year's beauties! . . Personally I think that January and February are the longest months of the year and I can't wait till spring! Well I don't know about you but I can't go that long without fresh flowers! So if your like me and need some winter pick me ups here are some links you might find useful. Flowers for delivery, fresh cut from the fields and shipped to your door I do have to say that anything sold on this page I do earn income from as an affiliate marketer! Enjoy the flowers 💐!

My Grandsons like to bring me flowers! Usually they don't have a stem. I'm trying to train them, this is my pasture bouquet. I don't have the heart to tell them I'm allergic to them!
