The Roots of my life go back as far as my Great Grandfather.  Gardening is a gene that has been passed down in my family from generation to generation.  It serves as a metaphor for life.  Deep strong roots keep you firmly grounded in tradition, passion and happiness!

For years, I have served as a helpful role to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. In 2020,  I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our society. I founded A farm girls life! with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and it has been a wild success ever since.

Christmas crafts!

Hey there my crafty friends! So I haven't had the chance to do much in the way of Christmas crafts. At least those that didn't involve preschoolers. So I got on pinterest for some inspiration! I found a lot of inexpensive quick crafts! Most of them are made from items found at the dollar store. There are a lot about making crafts with cheap wine glasses 🍷 and water goblets, and a lot of snowmen ideas. That's because snowmen are my one of my favorite things to collect. I just seem to be drawn to them. There is a lot of other ideas too! There are so many great Christmas ideas I'm going to create a blog for wreaths, trees, table settings ect. So happy crafting and I hope my little guys will give me some time to do crafting myself and I will share it with you! Happy crafting! FG

Here is a picture of my tree! My living room is shades of blues so I use silver and blue. Then I have a lot of old world glass ornaments ( that is why the boys got to decorate their own tree!,)
