BRIARWOOD COLLIES
Updated: Nov 28, 2020
Hey my friend's! Especially my Collie friend's! How is your Tuesday going? My little guys don't have school this week and they are wired! It's going to be a long week! For my Collie friend's, I decided to sell one of my Collies. He was out of the litter from spring 2019. He was the runt of the litter and all the other puppies nudged him out of the feed bowl. We finally had to pull him out and feed him separately! He is a very light sable/Merle and he has a tremendous coat just like his mother!
Anyway, he also had Collie eye in one eye so no one wanted him! So I had decided to use him for a therapy 🐕 dog. Loud noises don't scare him, he loves people and is steady as a rock! Anyway, through a friend I found someone who was looking for an adult Collie. She referred us and Henry, the Collie was the only one I had left to sell! Because of my Grandson's and Covid I haven't had time to work with him! So with a lot of hesitation in my heart I decided to sell him! We got his shots and health papers!. My daughter bathed him for me and I line combed him. He was so poofy! The man came from Texas yesterday to see him. Then came back this morning to pick him up. I loaded him in the car for him! So I got to hug on Henry and say goodbye! They should be driving across Oklahoma by now. As all of my fellow breeders know, when you sell a puppy you always wonder if you made the right decision. I think I did! This man cooks up fresh meat 🍖 to feed his 🐕 dogs! So my heart is hurting a little bit because I was so in love with Henry!
Anyway, the timing couldn't have been more perfect 👌. Wouldn't you know it one tractor won't start today and another has a flat! It's kind of like the Lord said I can't stop this from happening but I will give you the means to fix it! We have to have the tractors working in order to feed hay to the cows! Living on the farm there is always something going on! Rarely do we ever have a dull day! So that's life! If you are a praying person please pray for me my friend's! I'm really missing Henry! As matter of fact I am crying as I write this! FG Farm Girl
P.S. I recently heard from Henry's new owner. He has settled in well and made friends with his other Collies! He jumped up on his table, oops, I did say that I hadn't had time to work with Henry!
